This is the first image I’ve worked up with full attention to color (as opposed to trying to give it the “Ansel Adams black & white treatment.”
What do you think?

And here’s the latest. I did this one square. I like it.

Here’s a horizontal view of the falls. The subject matter had me shooting vertical all day … I should have worked harder to put the falls in context of the amazing scenery surrounding them. More of that next time. When I’ll take more time.

Incredible scene.
It’s all condensed into a few inches here, but do you realize how high that is? Yosemite Falls measures 2,425 feet from the top of the upper falls to the base of the lower falls. That’s almost half a mile!

This is my favorite shot of Yosemite Falls (so far — I have more to edit). We’ve jumped from Yosemite Falls No. 1 to No. 3 because I haven’t finished No. 2. More to come. Let me know what you think. Constructive comments on pics and/or Photoshop “skills” are always welcome.

Here’s another shot from Yosemite. This one of 617-foot Bridalveil Fall (that really is how you spell/write it).
This one, aptly named Bridalveil Fall No. 1, because it’s the first of the collection. The collection of Bridalveil is small though, so you’ll really need to enjoy this one.
Color? Black & white? You know the drill. Mouse over the image to compare.
